The main bedroom (see right), with a king-size bed and 2'6" bunk beds, has a beamed ceiling and windows to the side and back overlooking the garden.

The other two bedrooms have windows to the front; one has a double bed and a 3' single bed, the other has two sets of 3' bunk beds -see left.

A newly fitted family bathroom is also on the first floor. Water heating is via timed immersion, and there are wall mounted electric heaters in most rooms which provide background heat, although the wood fire tends to warm the whole house in chilly periods.
